A team of researchers affiliated with several institutions in Japan, examining data from that country’s moon-orbiting Kaguya spacecraft, has found evidence of oxygen from Earth’s atmosphere making its way to the surface of the moon for a few days every month.
It is microscopic, looks a bit like a jellyfish, and survives in a place that would kill every other known animal species
According to astronomers, the distant planet GJ 1132b has plenty of oxygen, but no life on the surface.
Astronomers using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) detected a clear signal from oxygen in a galaxy located 13.1 billion light-years away from us.
