The Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena posted at the website of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on June 25, 2021 is NOT the UAP report.

The New York Times reported on June 3, 2021 it had received a leak pertaining to the pending UAP report slated to be delivered to the Senate Intelligence Committee no later than June 25, 2021.
On June 16 a limited number of media outlets reported the House Intelligence Committee received a briefing ahead of the UAP report to come later. PRG’s understanding now is a 73 page report was delivered to the House and Senate Intelligence and Armed Services committees around that time. If that was the UAP report, the Preliminary Assessment posted on June 25 was to serve the public’s expectation for something on that date.
The DOD and ONI had 180 days from the signing of the omnibus bill in December of 2020 to prepare a report, but first learned of the Senate Intelligence Committee request in July of 2020. It is a bit disconcerting the major media outlets are assuming the resulting report would be six pages and two appendices.
If PRG’s understanding is correct, the DOD made the decision to provide the report ahead of the deadline and let the committees decide what to pass on to the public and when. Notably, after the briefing Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), Chairman of the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence and Counterproliferation, told a reporter, “We’re looking forward to having a public hearing at some point. I mean, there’s some national security concerns that we want to take into consideration.”
If the four House and Senate committees have had the report in advance of the deadline and now have another two weeks to review it while the Senate is in recess, expect rapid developments when the Senate is back in session on July 12.
