VLADIMIR Putin is about to reveal the existence of aliens after Donald Trump refused to, it has been claimed.
He and other conspiracists worldwide believe the US and other world governments have been working to keep extraterrestrials secret since the infamous Roswell incident in 1947.
His theory is visitors from outer space have helped militaries across the globe develop cutting-edge weapons using alien technology.
Bassett has claimed US authorities won’t break this “truth embargo” because it could potentially “breach the US constitution”, as well as have a wires impact on religion, the economy and the rule of law.

But he now claims Vladimir Putin could be on the brink of revealing what would be the world’s best-kept secret.
In an interview dubbed in Russian on a TV programme in the country called Most Shocking Hypotheses, the ufologist aired his outlandish beliefs.
A spokesman for Bassett’s PRG group said they hoped the interview might even push activists in Russia to get nearer to the alien truth.
The spokesman said: “Bassett covered a broad range of topics including various considerations that might prompt Russian President Vladimir Putin to make the first formal acknowledgement by a head of state regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.
“PRG believes this to be the first time anyone has made this argument on Russian media inside or outside Russia.”
“These groups included a number of former Soviet and Russian military and agency officials,” the spokesman added.
“There has always been a considerable, open engagement of extraterrestrial-related phenomena within Russia and the Soviet Union by the public and the government.”
