Mystery surrounds the discovery of a giant, fossilised footprint found embedded into stone in China.

Filmed in Guizhou Province last Monday, the video show baffled people putting their foot into the huge indentation revealing its scale.

The left footprint was 57cm long, 20cm wide and 3cm deep, around twice the length of a normal man’s.

Villagers also discovered a print of a right foot in another mountain.

There are claims the mysterious print could belong to the mystical ‘Yeren’ or ‘Wild-man’, a hairy creature believed to by some to live in the mountains of China.

The beast has a similar description to ‘Bigfoot’ in North America.

Sightings of the beast usually come from North America, but this lasted video was shot in Indonesia .

The ‘Sasquatch’ can be seen roaming through the countryside against a back drop of exotic mountains.

Some claim the clip is fake – just one of thousands of hoaxes posted online.

But others are saying this could be the real McCoy.

That’s because most sightings that take place in North America tend to be Bears.

Bears walk upright so are often at the root of claims.

But as Indonesia doesn’t have large bears, the footage has sparked fresh interest among believers in the creature.
