THREE Los Angeles Police Department helicopters had a “standoff with a UFO”, conspiracy theorists have claimed.

The bizarre encounter was filmed in the skies over Los Angeles, California, US, on March 27.
In the video, three helicopters are seen all directly pointing towards a singular black object.
It appears to be stationary as it faces the police aircraft.
An unnamed cameraman says: “Three helicopters and a dot.
“That’s a UFO right there.
“Three helicopters are facing that dot.”
The unknown aircraft doesn’t appear to move during the standoff.
Since being uploaded to YouTube, the video has fed conspiracist’s theories that “extraterrestrial beings” have entered the Earth’s atmosphere.
Blake Cousins, of YouTube channel thirdphaseofmoon, shared the video today and said: “We are wondering if this is a standoff between extraterrestrial existence, a craft from another world and LAPD helicopters.
“What the heck is going on in the skies over LA?”
He provided a zoomed in shot of the “UFO” which lacks shape and any indication that it is a normal aircraft.
When he zooms in on the LAPD’s aircraft, the helicopters features are visible.
In a bid to debunk claims that the video had been artificially edited, the conspiracist stated that he examined the footage and was shown no sign that it had been altered.
In only two days, some 37,000 people have viewed the video.
One person claimed: “We are living in strange times where we are now seeing things in plain daylight, it can’t be ignored or covered up anymore.”
“The military and police are told not to engage in combat with UFOs due to their advanced weapon technology,” another baffled viewer commented.
A third person said: “That is weird how they’re checking it out.
“It’s probably a true UFO from somewhere else.”
It’s not the first time a UFO sighting has hit the headlines.
On Friday, footage emerged of the ISS feed being cut by NASA after a “UFO was caught watching the astronauts”.
