Man says he was abducted by UFO before aliens drugged and examined him

A fisherman says he was abducted by a UFO whose two gray alien occupants drugged him and subjected him to a physical examination.

Calvin Parker, 64, says he and friend Charles Hickson were captured by the 80-foot football shaped craft while fishing on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi.

Parker has now written a book about the October 1973 abduction, which he says involved a gray alien with no neck and wrinkled skin, and another who appeared more feminine. He claims the extraterrestrials were able to defy gravity and floated as they subjected he and Hickson, who has since died, to medical examinations.

Recalling the incident, Parker said: ‘A big light came out of the clouds. It was a blinding light.

‘It was hard to tell with the lights so bright, but it looked like it was shaped like a football.

‘I would say, just estimating, (it was) about 80-foot. (It made) very little sound. It was just a hissing noise.’

Parker said the encounter with the two aliens left him terrified – until he suddenly began to relax.

He continued: ‘I think they injected us with something to calm us down. Illustration and description of alien/UFO by Charlie Hickson **NO CREDIT**

‘I was kind of numb and went along with the program.’

After the examination, the men were returned to the bank of the river.

They subseqently contacted their local sheriff’s office, and passed sobriety as well as lie detector tests administered by deputies.

Hickson reveled in the widespread media attention that followed, but Parker was much more shy, and tried to stay out of the spotlight.

Explaining why he has chosen to speak out after so long, he said: ‘I’ve been going through this 45 years this October.

‘I never talked about it or wanted to talk about it. Pascagoula - The Closest Encounter: My Story by Calvin Parker, book cover

‘I have very few friends, but they’re true friends. They never asked about it and I never talked about it. My family never talks about it.

‘I felt like everyone deserved an explanation.

‘Everyone has an expiration date and I wanted to get this out there before I die.

‘I’ve had some near-death experiences and I’m in bad health. I just wanted to do it.’

He added: ‘I catch myself going fishing at night and look up and wonder where they came from and how far did they travel and why they had to get me.’
