I have been following, with great interest, the revelations that are occurring with each release of photos from the Nasa probe from the Dawn mission to the dwarf planet Ceres in the asteroid belt.
Latest indications are that Ceres could be made up of one third of its mass with water. The bright spot may just be manifestations of salt bursting to the surface of the planet in the form of salt water and the water evaporating, leaving a bright spot of white salt crystals.
If this is true, this would make Ceres a highly valuable place to colonize in any future expansion of the human race into space.
I await further news and will keep everyone at EMN informed as more news emerges.
